Urgent Notice

We are holding an Emergency Food Drive to support the increased need for food during the month of November. Drop off is anytime at 90 New Haven Ave in Milford. Alternatively, you can ship items directly to us via your Amazon account. Our Community Kitchen typically prepares and serves meals for over 150 individuals daily. We are anticipating a sizeable increase in the coming weeks. We would love it if you would consider donating items or making a monetary donation.

Donations made through the above link will be used to provide direct assistance to those in need through the purchasing of grocery store gift cards; these gift cards will go directly to the most vulnerable individuals living in Milford and surrounding areas to supplement benefits during this extremely difficult time. The amount given will be on a case by case basis, reviewed through our case management team.

Thank you for being a part of this community and for taking care of those who would otherwise go hungry at this time. Together, we can ensure ALL who walk through our doors are fed!

Support Our Veterans!

For too many who served our nation, the battle does not end with their military service. Many veterans struggle with their transition to civilian life with non-transferable job skills, physical and mental health challenges, navigating a complex benefit system and loss of identity and purpose. A lack of affordable housing and limited support networks compound these challenges leaving many veterans vulnerable and on a path to hunger and homelessness. Your donation TODAY through November 11th (Veterans Day) will be matched to support our veterans in need!

Get Your Tickets

Join the Rape Crisis Center of Milford and the Beth-El Center on Thursday, November 13th for our 3rd Annual Barrels for a Cause event! This year, we have partnered once again with Wines and More of Milford to hand pick our barrel (from SoNo1420 Distillery)! Every year, this event highlights the intersection of the work that our two agencies provide to the community, and the overall unity of Milford and the surrounding areas. Each $125 ticket grants the attendee: event admission, wine sampling, 1 bottle of custom bourbon... and more!

Meet Richard

After serving 8 years honorably in the United States Army as a Weapons and Unit Supply Specialist, Richard was discharged in 1989. He relocated to Florida and quickly secured work in construction, but had a difficult time making ends meet due to low wages throughout the state. He ended up at Beth-El Center shortly after becoming homeless. Since working with our Housing First Case Managers, we are excited to share that Richard has been presented a housing voucher and is now looking for his new home! We'd love it if you'd take a moment to watch his video.
